    FAQs

1. Who are the customers looking for help from a usDocuments business?

Your customers or clients are those who don’t want to spend a large amount of money for a lawyer, and those who need support in handling their various other document preparation and editing needs.

When you join, you will receive everything you need to market your services to clients, from a complete marketing plan to professional color brochures, business cards and other materials. You'll also have your own Website (hosted and maintained by our organization) which contains complete descriptions of all of your services.

2. Aren't several businesses already doing this?

There's nothing new about the field of document preparation services.  There are franchises available for between $50,000 and $150,000+ and you could pick one . . . but why, when usDocuments offers you far more ways to generate a large income for a fraction of this amount?   Document preparation is already a 100 billion dollar a year industry and growing FAST!  Plus, other companies keep growing - which tells you something about the future of this powerful market.

3. What about law firms? Will competition be a problem?

usDocuments is a business with a unique mission in a market that is huge. As a usDocuments Director, you can operate from your home office which will eliminate rented office overhead.  Plus, instead of having a team of expensive lawyers on staff with a large payroll to meet, you can use our central processing capability to meet the demand of available work. Compare this business model to the large franchises and law firms with expensive offices, bloated overhead and costly employees as the norm and it's easy to see how we can offer a better service product, at far less money. The fact is, the larger companies cannot be price competitive with a business like usDocuments.

4. What kind of background does the typical usDocuments Director have?

There is no specific background requirement to become a usDocuments Director, however, those who have had some previous business experience, or have a paralegal background such as a legal secretary, or even as a tax preparer or real-estate broker, will be found as usDocuments business operators. The key to success is to have a winning attitude and the desire to be successful.

5. What will I receive when I enroll as a usDocuments Director?

Everything you need to get started is included. You'll receive access to our on-line usDocuments database; a complete marketing tools package with an array of  brochures, in general, all the tools and systems you’ll need to support your business; sample advertisements; free technical and business development support and assistance 45 hours per week; ongoing training and marketing assistance; a free "standard" usDocuments Website (separate from but similar to our main site) for your business use (See:  Sample of Your Site); and a license for use of the usDocuments trademark in your business.

When you join us, we'll provide you with access to our on-line system for running your business. All you need to manage your business is a computer with Internet access. And you don't need any Website design knowledge. We handle all of that for you.

6. What kind of "home office" support can I expect when I join?

Our “home office” support team has helped many entrepreneurs by providing business start-up and development assistance to this group of demanding entrepreneurs. We provide support 45 hours per week, by telephone or on the Internet. Support services are included at no extra charge . . . all you pay are your long distance charges.

7. Once I sign up as a Director, how do I find clients?

We offer an entire system for finding clients which is fully explained in the "Marketing" section of our "Director" web site. This site is accessible after you join.   We also have another section in our site on Advertising and still another section on less conventional methods of finding clients.

8. How do I find document preparation Agents?

We suggest that you place one of the advertisements outlined in the marketing materials in one of your local newspapers. You can also approach your friends and family for names of potential Agents who may want to supplement their income.

We've seen a single newspaper ad pull more than 60 responses from qualified document preparation people eager to earn a part time income by moonlighting for usDocuments.

As a usDocuments operator, you’ll be offering your Contractors the opportunity to earn a substantial second income by helping your clients.

Return to Questions

12. Why must I use eBay to bid on a territory?

Again, in order to keep costs as low as possible, we hope to reach as many people as possible and not have to pay for costly advertising.  Most people who are interested in starting their own business will most likely use the Internet to search and study the available opportunities including those offered through eBay.

Return to Questions

13. What other costs can an operator expect?
